Raph started off sailing dinghies in the UK at a young age and was quick to fall in love with life at sea after taking part in the Oyster World rally. Raph has captained over 100 charters, splitting his time between seasons in the BVIs and Europe, and knows the waters we operate in like the back of his hand. This knowledge, as well as his strong relationships with crews, makes him invaluable when building the perfect charter. Raph is mostly based in Europe and heads up the Above Deck team alongside Ryan.

Born in coastal Ireland and brought up exploring the coastline along the South of England, Ryan has a natural affinity for the ocean. His love for sailing took off in 2016 when he started organizing trips for university friends all around the Med. Having managed countless charters, Ryan is now a well-respected crewed charter broker, going over and above to provide the ultimate experience for guests. He’s always on the lookout for new destinations to take his clients... and his friends! Ryan is mostly based in Europe and heads up the Above Deck team alongside Raph.

Growing up among the mountains and lakes in the resort town of Whitefish, Montana, Jake has always loved the outdoors and being on the water. After his business degree, Jake based himself out of New York in tech operations. All it took was one sailing vacation in the Caribbean for him to leave his desk job behind and pursue sailing full time. Since then, Jake has captained over 100 charters across the Caribbean and Mediterranean, bringing years of logistical and hands-on experience to Above Deck. Jake is based in the US and handles general operations as well as our Clearing House.

Hailing from the North of England but London based for almost a decade, Jess has over eight years experience in digital, web and print design. She brings Above Deck to life across all of our visual assets, helping to get the guest experience started long before you step on board. Having sailed in various destinations around the world, her happy place is snorkelling in the Caribbean sea watching turtles eat grass from the ocean floor. Jess is based in London and offers her creative eye to all of our branding.

After achieving a business and marketing degree in Montana, Mackenzie traded her small town roots for collecting as many passport stamps as possible. She’s worked all around the world, managing high-end clientele in Bali, planning corporate events in Australia and crewing yachts in Croatia and the Virgin Islands. Since then, Mackenzie has brought her creative business background and passion for sailing to the Above Deck team as Social Media Manager. Mackenzie is based in the US where she provides a sneak peek into what our guests can expect across all of our social channels.

Having spent his childhood between Cape Cod and the South of France, Robert developed a passion for life on the water from an early age. Summers were spent sailing, boating, and fishing, experiences that naturally led to an interest in the yachting industry. While studying at university in Monaco, surrounded by yacht brokers, crew, and owners from around the world, Robert realized that a career in yachting was the perfect fit. Over the past decade, Robert has worked with boating platforms and yacht brokerages in both the United States and France, building extensive experience in yacht charter sales and luxury travel. His international background and forward-thinking perspective give him a unique understanding of both the traditional and evolving sides of the industry. Today, Robert helps clients plan unforgettable yacht charters throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond. When he is not arranging charters or spending time on the water, he enjoys jogging, playing football and tennis, and exploring the culture and cuisine of Mexico, where he has made his second home.
