COVID-19 Update
Our promise to you
Your safety is our number one priority. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we want to assure you we’re doing everything we can to guarantee our guests a safe and relaxing trip.
As of 05 March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) continues to advise against the application of travel restrictions to countries experiencing COVID-19 outbreaks. Above Deck stands by this advisory.
To best address your worries, however, we’ve also updated our cancellation policies to reflect potential new scenarios.
1. Want to book a trip?

If you wish to book a trip for later this summer your trip will be subject to the conditions listed below.

Above Deck will offer a FULL REFUND of the cost of your future boat booking, including any costs already incurred, if your booking is within a country listed as an Affected Area by WHO, and in the case of one or more of the following*:
-
An International travel ban is set in your destination, preventing you from travel outside of your country
-
You or a member of your crew has contracted COVID-19
-
The World Health Organization declares a high risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the region to be traveled to and recommends all but essential travel to that region
*Affected areas are considered those countries, provinces, territories, or cities experiencing ongoing transmission of COVID-19, in contrast to areas reporting only imported cases. This guarantee applies to FUTURE bookings and is redeemable up to 28 days prior to the first day of your trip.
*Please note that this does not apply to any flights or transfer costs*

As well as our guarantee, we strongly recommend you get travel insurance to cover the cost of cancelled flights in a worst-case scenario.

2. Already have a trip booked?

If a trip has to be cancelled due to one or more of the following reasons;

-
An International travel ban is set in your destination, preventing you from travel outside of your country
-
You or a member of your crew has contracted COVID-19
-
The World Health Organization declares a high risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the region to be traveled to and recommends all but essential travel to that region

Then we will offer you the opportunity to re-book your trip for the same price later in the year. We are not able to guarantee a refund at this time, however, we are in communication with the charter companies and will fight to arrange refunds on a case by case basis, although this is at the discretion of our partners.

If you are worried about the current climate and you wish to cancel/change your trip, we understand and are relaxing our normal booking policy.

-
We can offer the opportunity to rebook a trip in 2020 or 2021. Your last payment will be suspended until 1 month prior to the date of your future trip.
-
We are not able to offer any refunds for a trip that you have chosen to cancel - we strongly recommend that you rearrange the trip for no extra cost.

Please contact our team as early as possible at info@above-deck.com if you wish to move your trip.

*Please note that this does not apply to any flights or transfer costs*
Above Deck continues to monitor the situation and will inform affected travelers of any essential new advisories as soon as possible.
